Ded, Keeping Metal Alive.

Ded is Tempe Arizona based metal band. This four piece consists of drummer Matt Reinhard, bassist Kyle Koelsch, guitarist David Ludlow and vocalist Joe Cotela. The guys released their first album in 2017, "Mis-An-Thrope."

2017 was a big year for Ded. They went out on tour with Stone Sour, which I was lucky to catch. They played the "Mesa Meltdown" on July 6th 2017. The guys have some amazing energy on stage. They really got the crowd engaged. I remember everyone singing along to their single "Anti-Everything." It was awesome!

In 2018 the guys built on their success, and took their act on the road once more. This time with In This Moment. They spent the summer touring the big festivals in Europe. The guys will be joining Limp Bizkit and Killswitch Engage on the stage at Ufest on April 20th in Mesa Arizona.

The video for "Anti-Everything" currently has 1.5 million views on YouTube. Their two singles "Anti-Everything"and "Remember The Enemy" both charted in the top 20 on the Rock charts. Nothing to scoff at. They also have over 200 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify.

Metal fans can be a bit resistant to new bands, but Ded seems to have broken though. I anxiously awaiting their second album. Let's hope it is soon!
