New Taylor Swift Music on the Way?

Swifties have been speculating since late February that Taylor Swift may have something up her sleeve, that something being new music. After a series of Instagram posts, her diehard fanbase began dissecting every detail of the pictures, down to the color palette of the photos and the minuscule details on her clothes. Fans also became even more hyper aware that something was going on when Swift wore shoes with butterfly wings on the heels to the iHeart Radio Music Awards last weekend, making them think butterflies may be a theme of the next album. When Swift accepted one of her two awards of the night, she ended her speech with the ominious statement, "I just wanted to let you know when there is new music, you will be the first to know." This sent fans into a tail spin and left them wondering, "but when will I know?"

It's not uncommon for artists to post mysterious pictures on Instagram or make Twitter posts alluding to new projects to come, but they have to be especially sneaky with a fanbase like the Swifites who take inventory of every minor detail.
